Mr. Hellman is the founder and President of Hellman & Associates, Inc. (H&A). It is his unique blend of experience in occupational health and safety services and his business model design that provide the foundation of success for the company. Built upon his EHS service in the manufacturing, construction, steel fabrication, wood products, health care, pharmaceutical, and vehicle service industries, his vision is to balance regulatory compliance and risk management with internal cost savings, timely service and common sense. This has come to fruition in Hellman & Associates.

Mr. Hellman has raised the company from its 1998 roots to a thriving business comprised of professionals with advanced degrees, certified safety professionals, certified industrial hygienists and a team who thrives on the relationships available as outsourced EHS managers.

Craig brings more than twenty years of experience as an Environmental Health and Safety Professional. Prior to Hellman & Associates, he worked as a senior corporate EHS manager for a large food and beverage firm with expansive manufacturing, storage, and distribution operations across the U.S. While there, he was instrumental in the development, implementation and maintenance of EHS compliance and best management programs, including OSHA’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP). He also has substantial EHS work experience at a large medical device manufacturing facility, EHS consulting experience, and military experience as a Bioenvironmental Engineer supporting EHS programs at a large logistics center. He has developed and delivered programs that improve EHS culture from the plant manager’s office to the plant floor.

Courtney Pope

Courtney Pope

Emily brings more than five years of experience to our team as an Environmental Health and Safety Professional. Prior to graduating from Colorado State University in 2011, Emily interned for the Environmental Health Department at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp.

Emily’s professional experience includes managing EHS responsibilities at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) locations in twenty U.S. states, serving as the safety officer on HPE's account with NASA, and acting as the safety liaison between HPE’s EHS team and facilities management. Additionally, Emily has provided EHS consulting for small to large scale clients across the United States for over four years with H&A. Her coursework knowledge, previous work experience, and strong work ethic equip her with the skills to serve H&A’s diverse client base.

Prior to joining Hellman & Associates, Inc., Mrs. Spratt has experience as an Industrial Hygienist working mainly in industrial oil and gas refineries, Environmental Scientist for an environmental and industrial hygiene consulting company, and as a Research Analyst Intern for a mining lobbying group in Wellington, New Zealand. In these positions, she managed and implemented Industrial Hygiene Programs such as Benzene, Hearing Conservation, PPE, etc. She also was responsible for managing environmental remediation for real estate transactions.
